I only noticed last night when my phone tried to show my latest masterpiece in HDR, and would not let me watch in SDR. This is why a couple of my finished projects get messed up in YouTube. Resolve has been trying to jump through hoops rendering something that the Beta software explodes and crashes trying to doon my domestic computer because there is just too much to calculate. Davinci Resolve has chosen to use the HDR settings for the Timeline and Render settings. I wanted to up my game and refused to pay the Panasonic TAX for the LOG profile, so I persevered with the HLG colour profile.īecause I have not found a way of telling Resolve 17 that I DO NOT want to render a HDR colour space of Rec 2020 but I want a SDR colour space of Rec709 as my finished product to show to the world on YouTube. I have gone from a Cinelike D to Hybrid Log Gamma colour profile. It DOES NOT, or I have not found, the Output render Colour Space, that was in Resolve 16.įor the last couple of months I have changed what colour profile I use on my Panasonic GH5. The new Resolve 17 only shows the Timeline Colour Space.
The main show-stopper of all my woes is re-designed and simplified Project Settings Colour Management page. Delete that driver and use the normal driver for the RTX 3070 and problem be gone. The GPU memory full is down to the new Nvidia Studio driver that came out a few days ago on the Nvidia website. This evening, the penny has finally dropped and I have solved my problems of Resolve 17 crashing and GPU memory full errors. I have not been able to render any projects with Noise reduction. Since I started using Resolve 17 Beta with my new RTX 3070 graphics card I have not been able to render any project as h.265. It would give us a clue as to what systems we should test this issue on.Įditing in links to a log archive would be useful too.
